phâ > this is not exactly a weapon but a knife or hatchet which is like kirpan of Dai people
as for shinobi, i dont think there is any such special warrior.. two words i can think of maw sérk or expert in war and saai lâp or basically a spy... (note: these are just words coined by me on spot... samurai was a caste in japan so i dont think tai people would have anything like it... everyone was a warrior in tai lands including the civilian population)
